At graylink, we respect and protect the privacy of visitors to our Site, erecruit.co (the "Site"), and our customers who use our on-demand platform, tools and services offered on the Site (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect and use visitors' and customers' information as part of our Site and our Service.

Neptune collects information from our users at several different points on our Site and the Service in accordance to this privacy statement.

1.2.1 Requested Information may include your name, company's name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and other information. While using the Service, you may be asked for additional Job and Profile Information.

When you send us messages, we may retain the content of your messages, together with our response to you.

1) Recruiters - we will disclose the information about the job you are trying to fill to all Candidates. We will also use and disclose your Personal Information to notify you about important changes to the Site, the Service, or our business, new services, and special offers you may find valuable. By using the Site and the Service, you agree to receive this information from us.

2) Candidates - we will disclose your Personal Information to the Recruiter of the job you submitted your information to for the sole purpose of finding employment. We may also use and disclose your Personal Information to notify you about important changes to the Service. By using the Site, you agree to receive this information from us.

2.1.3 Job and Profile Information
We generally use and disclose your Job and Profile Information as follows:

1) Recruiters - we will disclose information about the job you posted on the Service. We may retain information derived during the process for our internal analytical purposes, and may publish the results of such analysis without disclosing any Personal Information.

2) Candidates - information provided yourself will be shared with the Recruiters whose jobs you are applying to. We may retain information derived during the process for our internal analytical purposes, and may publish the results of such analysis without disclosing any Personal Information.

2.2 Use of Personal Information
The following section describes the disclosure of any Personal Information.

2.2.1 Recruiters, Registered Users & Subscribers
We may disclose certain Personal Information to Candidates who apply for positions you post. By using the Site and the Service, you grant us the right to disclose this certain Personal Information to the applicable Candidates. Please note that we do not have any control over how a Candidate uses and discloses your Personal Information, including information you provide directly to that Candidate. You acknowledge and agree that we will not have any liability for any actions of any Candidate. You should know that Candidates to whom we may disclose your Personal Information may share your Personal Information with others.

In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information;

1) if such disclosure is made to comply with the law or an order issued by a court or an authorized administrative agency, respond to a subpoena, legal process, warrant, court order, or to protect our rights or property, prevent a crime, or protect the personal safety or rights of others;

2) to our service providers, vendors, or other third parties for the purpose of providing services on our behalf, including, without limitation, customer service (help), credit card processing, information technology services, and hosting services;

3) as part of a merger or consolidation, or part of the sale of all or substantially all the stock or assets of the business to which the information pertains;

4) and as part of a disposition in a bankruptcy proceeding in a transaction approved by the bankruptcy court.

Please be aware that when you voluntarily display or distribute Personal Information on the Site and the Service or in other ways, that information can be collected and used by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. We cannot be responsible for Personal Information you voluntarily display, disclose, or distribute on the Site or in any other way.

2.3 Candidates
We will disclose your Personal Information to Recruiters whose jobs you have applied for. By using the Site to apply for a job, you grant us the right to disclose your Personal Information to the applicable Recruiter. Please note that we do not have any control over how a Recruiter uses and discloses your Personal Information, including information you provide directly to that Recruiter.

You acknowledge and agree that;

1) we do not evaluate any Recruiter's privacy practices,

2) and we will not have any liability for any actions of any Recruiter.

You should know that Recruiters to whom we may disclose your Personal Information may share your Personal Information with others.

In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information;

3. Cookies
A "cookie" is a small software file stored temporarily (session cookie) or placed on your computer's hard drive (persistent cookie). The main purpose of a cookie is to allow a web server to identify a user's computer and web browser, and tailor web pages and/or login information to the user's preferences. Cookies don't give us access to users' computers, and the information we collect through cookies doesn't include personal information.

When you visit the Site or use the Service we use "session cookies" to allow us to uniquely identify your browser while you are logged in, and to process your online transactions.

3.1 Essential cookies
Some of the cookies we use are critical to the functionality of the Site and the Service. They are used to keep a user logged into the Site and remember relevant information when the user returns to the Site and uses the Service.

3.2 Controlling cookies
If you disable your web browser's ability to accept cookies you will not be able to browse our Site, or take advantage of any of the Service features.

4. Logging
As is true with most web sites, Neptune gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files. This information includes internet protocol addresses as well as browser, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. Occasionally we may connect personal information to data gathered in our log files, as necessary to improve the Service to individual customers. Otherwise we mostly use this information with no connection to individual users, to analyse trends, administer the Site, or track usage of various features within the Site.

5. Security Statement (Protection of Information)
We are committed to protecting the security of your Information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Even though we have taken and will continue to take steps to ensure that your Information is not intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed by unauthorized persons, you should know that we cannot fully eliminate associated security risks. You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Site and the information you post or access through the Site.

6. Public Forums
Neptune may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Neptune is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

7. Information Sharing
Except as described in this Policy, graylink will not give, sell, rent or loan any personal information to any third party. graylink may provide non-personal, summary or group statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personal information.

7.1 Billing
graylink uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on graylink's behalf.

7.2 Compelled Disclosure
graylink may disclose such information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We may also share such information if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

8. Changes to the Policy
graylink reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. We will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through the our Site at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.

10. Requesting data deletion

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide the recruitment portal's services, or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. For example, you can easily delete your data if you have not made any applications to jobs. Once you have made an application, your data is needed for processing and audit trails purposes. However, according to GDPR practices you can request your personal information to be removed in terms of your "right to be forgotten".

Should you wish to no longer be included in the talent pool and therefore not be considered for any possible vacancies you might qualify for, kindly request for your your profile to be deleted from our records by contacting us as support@erecruit.co.za. Please note that by deleting your profile, you will no longer be considered or appear in any talent searches. Should you exercise the option not to delete your profile, you hereby agree and consent to the recruitment portal using and sharing your personal information collected for recruitment purposes.
